I have been doing Ceremonies since 1987, I am a licensed social worker, plus I owned my own Catering & Event Planning company for 27 years. Therefore, I have experienced virtually the full range of options possible…and problems. I offer my experience to all my couples from the day hired to the Big Day. This can range from the most serious, like parents not on-board to should the bride let the groom see her prior to the ceremony?
In addition, officiant attended rehearsals are not always necessary.** What I do, if preferred, is to choreograph the entire processional/recessional on paper and give it to the couple at our last meeting. Most couples choose this option, unless it’s a large wedding party, because the rehearsal is very easy to do, it saves money and I always arrive to the ceremony at least 30-45 min. beforehand, in order to meet everyone and to ensure everything goes as planned.
